This Calcium Fortified Vitamin Enriched Beverage Mix contains 25% (250 mg)of the recommended Daily Value of Calcium as well as 100% (60mg) of the DV of Vitamin C, 35% (2mcg) Vitamins B12, 35% (140 IU) Vitamin D3 and 35% (11 IU) Vitamin E.
Our Calcium and Vitamin Enriched Beverage Mix is an excellent calcium source alternative to milk at a much lower cost per serving. Calcium Lactate, the calcium source used in this product, is 100% water-soluble, eliminating any sediment after about 2 minutes in solution, unlike the calcium used in some competing products, which settle out without constant re-stirring. Furthermore, Calcium Lactate provides a high level of bio-availability which allows the body a high rate of intestinal absorption. Additional Vitamins were added at the request of correctional facilities for the benefit of their inmates. B12 is an essential vitamin derived from meat which is difficult to obtain from other foods. D3 helps the body absorb calcium, E and C serve as anti-oxidants and contribute to overall good health.
Sweetened with Aspartame and Acesulfame Potassium, this product is 100% sugar-free and is a delicious tasting beverage. Each 3.3 gram envelope, when combined with 8 ounces of water, yields one 8 ounce serving.
