When Bernard Food Industries, Inc. commenced business on December 18, 1947, its first two items were Low Sodium Chicken Soup Base and Low Sodium Beef Soup Base. These first two low sodium products became the forerunner of many more dietary foods that followed.
With the availability of certain natural flavors, we have formulated our Low Sodium Chicken Soup Base and Low Sodium Beef Soup Base, so that they not only taste better than our previous products, but the yield is now almost double, resulting in a tremendous cost saving.
Also, instead of the previous three different sizes of each type of Low Sodium Base, we can now offer a convenient single size that will make from on (1) gallon to six (6) gallons.
Our Bases can
be used as a flavoring agent for gravies, sauces and stews. In
addition to making a delicious low sodium soup, variety can be achieved
by adding vegetables and meats of your choice.
