Directions

Ingredients:

  • Choose your yield:
    • 1 gallon: 8 oz dressing mix, 2 qt milk/buttermilk, 2 qt mayonnaise
    • 2 quarts: ¾ cup dressing mix, 1 qt milk/buttermilk, 1 qt mayonnaise
    • 1 quart: 6 tbsp dressing mix, 1 pint milk/buttermilk, 1 pt mayonnaise
    • 1 cup: 5 tsp dressing mix, ½ cup milk/buttermilk, ½ cup mayonnaise
  • Any type of milk: Whole, 2%, low-fat, or reconstituted non-fat dry milk powder (alone or with buttermilk)

Instructions:

  1. Whisk it together: In a mixing bowl, pour your chosen milk/buttermilk and add the corresponding amount of dressing mix. Whisk with a wire whip until the powder is fully incorporated. Scrape down the sides and beat for 2 minutes.
  2. Mayonnaise magic: Gradually add the mayonnaise while beating continuously until everything is smooth and creamy.
  3. Chill out: Refrigerate your dressing for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and develop. Stir before serving.
