Sample Directions (more directions on next page):

  • Frosting: Combine 2 ⅓ cups of mix with ¼ cup of water.
  • Icing: Combine 1 ¾ cups of mix with ¼ cup of water.

Directions

Directions for Frosting and Icing:

Materials:

  • Contents of frosting/icing bag
  • Mixer with paddle attachment
  • Warm water

Frosting Preparation:

  1. Combine: Add the bag contents to your mixer and pour in 3/4 cup (6 fluid oz.) of warm water.
  2. Mix: Start mixing on low speed until the powder is moistened. Gradually increase to high speed and mix for 3 minutes.
  3. Yield: This creates 4 1/2 to 5 cups of frosting, enough to generously cover one full-size sheet pan.

Icing Preparation:

  1. Adjust Water: For a thinner icing, use 1 cup (8 fluid oz.) of warm water instead.
  2. Mix: Follow the same mixing instructions as for frosting.
  3. Yield: This produces 4 3/4 to 5 1/4 cups of icing, enough to cover two full-size sheet pans.
